Succeeding along one dimension of math classes is a matter of practice. There are many resources online for practicing the kinds of problems seen on tests, such as Khan Academy.
Succeeding along a different dimension of math is matter of having fun recognizing patterns, and being willing to struggle with difficult problems and puzzles.
